At LH-Estate, five residences come together within an heirloom private enclave designed for an extended family. Set across a gently sloping site, existing homes and new residences are connected by a shared basement and expansive landscape, with courtyards, a swimming pool and open pathways creating a network of spaces for both gathering and retreat. 

Undertaken by ONG&ONG in collaboration with ArMo Design Studio, the project brings together five residences, each designed and adapted to respond to the needs of the family. House A largely retains its original form, while House B is enhanced with a small extension and new roof. Houses C and D are newly built two-storey residences, while House E contains the greatest number of bedrooms and is designed to accommodate two families. The interiors are treated individually, allowing the spaces for each family to develop their own character. The living and dining areas are open and filled with light, with large glass openings that maintain a strong visual connection to the landscaped courtyards and the rest of the compound. 

The changing levels of the site shape the experience of moving through the development. A narrow driveway descends into the shared basement, where skylights, air wells and open-to-sky areas bring daylight, air and greenery into what might otherwise feel like an underground level. The swimming pool similarly sits within the slope yet remains open to the sky, creating a seamless relationship between architecture and landscape. 

Between House A and House C, the clubhouse forms a central gathering space for the family, opening towards the pool deck and shared outdoor amenities. House C strengthens this connection through living spaces and bedrooms oriented towards the pool, while its distinctive spiral staircase becomes a sculptural focal point within the home. 

Across the compound, courtyards create visual connections between the residences, while roof terraces offer views back towards the development and reinforce the relationship between the individual houses and the larger whole. 

Balancing independence with togetherness, LH-Estate explores the intersection of domestic intimacy and resort-inspired living, creating a layered residential environment designed as a lasting legacy for the family and future generations.
