Located beneath the stretch of Cross Street that meets Amoy Street and Telok Ayer Street, this Downtown Line MRT station encapsulates seamless, modern architecture.

The façade exudes a contemporary elegance that complements the surrounding shophouse typology. An “oval” design is employed within the station, with a circular lift core, rounded columns and a curved ceiling to subtly direct commuters. This fine art of balancing practicality and aesthetics is also discernible in the material and lighting choices, with emphasis on durability and ease of maintenance.
