Located in Bedok, the 7-storey Heartbeat@Bedok was envisioned as a key civic space for the local community. Part of HDB's 'Remaking Our Heartland' initiative, it combines a community club, sports and recreation centre, public library, polyclinic, and a senior care centre in one location. The development is a pioneer in co-location facilities in Singapore.

An award-winning distinctive community building, the Heartbeat@Bedok is also defined by the highest standards in modern sustainability. Featuring an inverted podium-and-block design strategy, interior spaces within the new building were designed with URBNarc and are predicated on functionality. Lush greenery and landscaping have also been incorporated, resulting in an environmentally progressive building, with reduced energy consumption, and lowered operation and maintenance costs.
