AL-ANSAR MOSQUE, Singapore

Architecture

Al-Ansar Mosque is located along the Green Link, between Bedok Reservoir and East Coast Park. Envisioned as an open and inclusive mosque, it serves as an inviting place for worshippers and the rest of the surrounding community.

Al-Ansar's design embodies the idea of embracing both the new and the old. Elements like its iconic minaret and the main prayer hall's dome were retained and restored. These were integrated with new structures such as the floating podium, which houses classrooms and a 300-seat auditorium. Doubling as extended prayer space, the auditorium also serves a multi-purpose venue for social events.
